My journey began nearly 20 years ago, wrapping hair by the beach each summer. I was drawn to the freedom and connection it brought, and to the way it allowed me to travel, explore, and live a life shaped less by routine and more by experience.

 

Years later, I discovered macrame and fell deeply in love with the process. What began with hair wraps slowly expanded into jewellery, learned through experimentation, patience, and curiosity. Over time, it became more than a craft. It became a way to express myself, find calm, and create pieces with intention.

 

I split my time between the UK and India, and my work moves with me. It’s shaped by changing landscapes, everyday textures, quiet moments, and the subtle ways life influences creativity. Rather than always directly creating what I see, my pieces are guided by how those experiences feel.

 

Lar Pixie is a living, evolving practice. As I continue to travel, deepen my creative and spiritual life, and follow what feels honest, my work continues to grow alongside me.
